How to find the culprit of a crime, if all the clues have been reduced to ashes? This is the work of the “Ground Zero” team, a professional group, dependent on the Fire Department, whose objective is to find the people who have caused fire based on the clues that the fire has left in its path. Throughout the first thirteen episodes, the team of experts in criminal conduct and forensic investigation, led by Marcos Arias, a firefighter traumatized by a fire, and assisted by Donatien Grimal, a dangerous pyromaniac who seeks a reduction of his sentence, must solve a multitude of cases where the culprits have used the fire to hide a crime. Ground Zero is a series on fires, without fire and with many ashes, that teaches us that, sometimes, the answers are in what no longer exists.
RELEVANT FACTS: Ramón Paso is a screenwriter, playwright and a stage director, born in Madrid in 1976. He is the grandson of the playwright Alfonso Paso and great grandson of the writer Enrique Jardiel Poncela. More than 100 episodes written by Paso, between series and shows, were released on TV; among them are the most popular TV series of Spanish television, such as “Compañeros” or “Matrimonio con hijos”.
