Eba Martín Muñoz (also known as Samantha E. King) is a Basque novelist and editor, specializing in thriller, horror, and fantasy genres. She holds degrees in Hispanic Philology and Classics and specialized in ELE (Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language), which led her to live in several countries.
However, she left her career as a high school teacher to focus on her work as a writer, which she combines with roles in technology consulting and teaching creative writing workshops at the CPA in Santo Domingo de la Calzada, through Fundación La Caixa and Hatford Company.
She has also worked as a literary editor and was associated with the now-defunct Alma Negra Ediciones. Her novels have been published either through her own publishing house or via self-publication.
RELEVANT INFORMATION
This author is highly cherished by her audience, with hundreds of followers, and has achieved bestseller status in Spain, the United States, and Latin America. Her best-selling work to date is The Dead Do Speak (Los muertos sí hablan).
Additionally, Martín Muñoz was awarded the Eriginal Prize for Quality in 2016 and, more recently, was a finalist for the Premio Nadal 2024.
