Bruno Oro

Bruno Oro is a Spanish writer, actor and musician. He is Spanish from his mother´s side and from his father’s side Italian. His grandfather was Ramón Pichot, the painter. He studied Dramatic Arts at the Theater Institute in Barcelona and later moved on to the Rose Bruford College of Drama in London.

His career as an actor has always been closely tied to his comedic side. He has participated in many TV shows on Spanish television such as Las cerezas on TVE (the Spanish National TV Channel),  Mire usté on the Spanish channel Antena 3, El Comisario, and  Plats bruts, Polònia and Crackòvia on TV3. The success he gained from this made him very well known to the public, especially for his imitations of politicians. On TV3, he premiered in a comedy sketch show he wrote and directed called Vinagre.

He participated in the film Chuecatown, by Juan Flahn. His artistic partner in theater was Clara Segura, who writes and acts in various comedies.

He is also a Singer, composer and author.

 

RELEVANT INFORMATION

He is a very versatile author known for different creative facets, especially for his successful comedies. He has been awarded the Ondas Award twice.

His first novel Tú buscas amor y yo cobertura was a commercial hit, its publishers had to reprint it in its second week.

His second novel is No me invites a tu boda. He currently combines writing with his acting and singing career.
