Alejandra Ángeles is a Mexican writer. She holds a degree in Communication Sciences and Techniques, a Master’s in Mexican Literature Studies, and a PhD in Humanities with a specialization in Literature.

 

RELEVANT INFORMATION

Her work has been published in literary journals such as Nocturnario and Liberoamérica. She was a finalist and received an honorable mention in the National Contest of Fantastic Short Stories “El axolote” for three of her stories.

Her literary work falls within the genres of the fantastic and the uncanny, with influences from authors such as Juan Rulfo, Elena Garro, Gabriel García Márquez, and Mariana Enríquez. She frequently incorporates music into her narratives, as in Requiem for the Roses, where it becomes the central axis of the story.
