Claudia Meléndez was born in Mexico, but she moved to California at an early age. She graduated in Journalism, profession that still practises nowadays.
In her works, the author copes with political intentions, such as immigrations and other topics as regards the Latin-American community. All those researches made it possible the publication of A Fighting Chance, her latest novel focused on the Latino people in Monterrey.
