Gabi Martínez is a Spanish writer, screenwriter and journalist. He is also considered one of the five most representative authors of the Spanish avant-garde of the last twenty years. A tireless traveler, he is considered to be one of the greatest Spanish examples of travel literature.
Martínez was the co-author of the scripts of two documentaries: Angels & Dusts and Ordinary Boys. This one was selected for the New York MoMa, for the section on New Directors / New Films.

TVE Catalunya awarded him with the Premi Continuarà for his literary career. He was also a finalist of the II Premi Internacional de la Literatura de Viatges Camino del Cid. The magazine Qué Leer named one of his works as one of the best non-fiction books of the year.
