Miková studied puppetry, directing and dramaturgy at the DAMU (the Academy of Performing Arts) in Prague. She worked as a dramaturg, screenwriter and director at the Minor Theater for children. Currently, she is also engaged in dubbing directing and puppetry. She is the principal of the Puppets in the Hospital association, writes and directs plays, composes songs and herself participates in the activities in hospitals and treatment centers. She lives in Prague and has four children.
RELEVANT INFORMATION
She was awarded Magnesia Litera (the most renown Czech award) and Golden Ribbon 3 times. Miková has written over a dozen books, most of them for children, which have been very well received in the Czech Republic.
