Scenic Rights is the audiovisual co-agency of Mikel Santiago.
Mikel Santiago is a Basque writer currently recognized as one of the best international authors of thrillers, noir and fantasy novels. He studied Sociology, and has lived in Ireland and the Netherlands. He began his literary activity by publishing books and short stories online, and self-published four books through a platform for independent writers.
In addition to his career as a novelist, he works on concepts and scripts for series. In 2021, he entered into the world of podcasts with his first original audioseries, Tricia, that has reaped great success amongst the Storytel audience. Several of his titles are in the process of being adapted for the small and big screen.

With El mentiroso he began a series of novels set in an imaginary village in the Basque Country, where his work En plena noche and his upcoming work, Entre los muertos (2022), takes place.
The plots of his novels are easily adaptable to the audiovisual format. The rights to them are constantly being considered by major production companies.
