Rosa Navarro is a Spanish illustrator, writer and LGTBIQ+ activist with a degree in Fine Arts specialized in illustration. In addition to having collaborated as an illustrator in magazines, textbooks and merchandising, Navarro is one of the trailblazing queer figures in the world of comics and graphic novels and was the first author to publish a comic book about lesbianism and sexual identity from an open, fresh and humorous point of view.

Navarro uses first-hand experiences to construct her stories, which are always from a comical and relaxed perspective, a rarity in Spanish LGTBIQ+ literature.
Her works deal with current issues such as sexual freedom, diversity, different family models, personal growth and self-discovery.
