Society is failing, Europe is sinking, ethical and moral values are vanishing, and the only thing that matters is the money you can earn. More than twenty characters narrate their case to analyze with humor both politics and the present day, looking for the keys to why the world is going down. A comic and sarcastic monologue is used as the backbone of the story, along which scenes of racism, evictions, cuts, or prostitution are interspersed to exemplify this loss of ethical values in our society. We must change. You must stop being afraid. We must rebel against corrupt power.
RELEVANT FACTS: Playwright, screenwriter and scene director, born in Madrid (1976). Alfonso Paso’s grandson and Enrique Jardiel Poncela’s great grandson. In addition to screenwriting, he has staged, written and directed more than twenty plays premiered in Spain’s most important theatres. Like a Television Fiction screenwriter, he has written more than 100 episodes, counting TV series and entertainment formats. He has written episodes for some of the most successful Spanish TV series, such as “Compañeros” or “Matrimonio con hijos”.
