In 2030, Spain is in a political atmosphere in which the animal rights activism has been incorporated into the penal code.
As a consequence, Jacinto, also known as “Oedipus the Bullfighter”, has been placed in an asylum because of being a “bull killer” and his participation in a mob linked to the planning of clandestine bullfightings.
In parallel to Sophocles’ Oedipus Rex, Jacinto is very close to his mother Jacinta, the one who encouraged him to join the bullfighting culture. However, the presence of Teresa, the employee from the Taurine Rights Prosecutor, has such an impact on Jacinta that they both together are about to reeducate the “bull killer”.
