The time of the flies (TV Series)

The past always comes with a price.

After spending fifteen years in prison for the murder of Charo, her ex-husband’s lover, Inés is released and must face a world that has changed drastically. Society has evolved with the advancement of feminism and the laws of equal marriage and abortion. Inés, who had always been a traditional housewife and for whom motherhood was an unhappy experience, realizes she must be practical and adapt to this new reality, even if it is difficult for her.

Determined to reinvent herself, she teams up with the only friend she made in prison, la Manca. Together, they start a business with two services: Inés handles fumigations, and la Manca, now a private detective, takes on investigations as modern-day Thelma and Louise in Buenos Aires.

The plot thickens when a client of Inés, Mrs. Bonar, makes her a disturbing proposal that could unearth Inés’s dark past. However, it could also change their lives in an unexpected way. Amid these new experiences, Inés and la Manca find themselves embroiled in a detective story, where a potential crime becomes the center of their new reality, forcing them to navigate the challenges of the present and the ghosts of the past.
