Three Stories, One Destiny.
Anderson is a successful Colombian writer with a troubled past that inspires his writing. However, his addictions constantly drag him into the abyss. In a desperate attempt to start over, he moves to Madrid, only to discover that his past is not willing to let him go.
In Colombia, Uriel is a man who had a difficult childhood and always wanted to work in cabaret. Now he works as a waiter, and the only remnant of his dream is when he transforms into the drag queen Kiki Boreal at night.
His life changes when he is forced to move to another city to escape the violence flooding his town. Accompanying him on this journey is his adopted son, whom Uriel decided to take care of after the boy’s parents died in a tragic accident. But the boy feels that something doesn’t quite add up in Uriel’s story about his past.
On the other hand, the lives of the married couple Sergio and Celmira fall apart when she and their son are attacked in a shopping mall. Celmira survives, but there is no trace of the child. The couple ends up separating. Celmira flees the city to try to forget what happened and opens a hair salon in a small town to start a new life. But the past is always present. Sergio becomes obsessed with the incident after seeing a suspicious woman in security camera footage. Years later, he continues to investigate, using artificial intelligence to map out the possible appearance of his son in the present day, and keeps the search open with the help of a police inspector.
The case seems stalled for years, but a trip to Europe changes everything when Sergio attends a book presentation and recognizes his son in the writer, Anderson, discovering the truth: Uriel, taking advantage of the chaos of the attack in the mall, kidnapped the boy, lied to him about his past, and raised him as his own son.
