When TV meets reality.
Ernesto is invited to a blind dates reality TV show for young people, he is looking forward to finding a girlfriend. Surprisingly, his match in the show is another boy, Felix. He tries to change the situation, but the show is being recorded live-to-tape, so the director decides to go on with the recording anyway. Ernesto and Felix end up in an uncomfortable romantic dinner together, in front of the entire audience of the show.
However, it is not by chance that Ernesto and Felix were put together in this show, since Ernesto’s father, private detective, has provoked this situation thanks to his contacts and without telling his son to reach Felix, who is suspected of having killed Natalia Vallejo, who is missing since one year and a half.
After the show, it seems Felix and Ernesto take separated routes but, actually, they both spend the night at Felix’s, where Ernesto, getting close to Felix, gets valuable information for his father that takes them to find a dead body buried in Felix’s garden. It is a Belorussian dead man. Being interrogated, Felix assures he doesn´t know anything about that body and anything about Natalia Vallejo disappearance.
Soon, Ernesto and his father discover Felix has been leaving false clues to confuse them and avoid they can find out the truth. In that moment, the blind dates show organizes a special episode inviting Felix and Ernesto again, as when they were there last time, the audience knew live that Ernesto was not homosexual and that episode became such an event. This time, live and direct, Ernesto gets assigned a girl and Félix another boy.
In the middle of the broadcast, an armed woman, Natalia’s mother, breaks in the studio demanding Felix to tell her where her daughter is, while she points him with the gun. He is only able to say her daughter is fine until the actual Natalia calls live to the show to avoid she kills him and to say she has been hiding with Felix help, his boyfriend, to escape from his father, who abused her.
Finally, Felix reveals Ernesto, years later and about to get married with Natalia, that the body they found in his garden was a man who arrived in Spain pretending to be his biological father and seeking to get the inheritance from Felix adoptive parents. Natalia accidentally killed him when he was trying to assault her.
