Reinserting oneself in the past
Angel, a young ex-drug addict and ex-prisoner, comes back home after serving his time. The life in a poor neighborhood is not the most appropriate environment for his reintegration. Angel found himself in a violent encounter between the neighborhood´s junkies and the USA military caused by one of the “Yankees” when he abused Angel´s sister, who works as a prostitute. Angel does not truly believe in his social reintegration, only his lawyer, who is in love with him and has faith in the young ex-prisoner.
RELEVANT FACTS: José Luis Alonso de Santos has received numerous prizes for his work as a writer and as a director such as the National Theatre Prize and the MAX Theatre Award. He is presently the most acclaimed playwright in Spain and outside of Spain.
