Revenge has a new name.

The dizzying journey of an unforgettable female character: from a childhood marked by abuse to becoming the leader of a drug trafficking gang, culminating in the theft of a valuable antique at the Museum of Natural Sciences in Madrid. A story of personal growth and a captivating heist thriller full of action, all masterfully woven by a renowned Argentine author and journalist. Perfect for a Europe-LATAM co-production.

There are three things Blanca Rosa knows how to do very well: clean, have sex, and kill.
The first she learned from her grandmother, from whom she inherited her most prized possession: an obsidian stone, a Mayan amulet symbolizing protection.
Her best friend Maruca, an Argentine prostitute, taught her the trade. “It will help you survive,” she said.

She learned how to kill on her own when she was thirteen years old, when she took revenge from her grandmother’s husband, who abused her.
After fleeing from Paraguay to Argentina with Maruca, Blanca Rosa becomes the lover and right-hand woman of a drug lord, and at just 18, she becomes the sole survivor of a gang war. Feared by many, “La Rey” is born.

Meanwhile, in Spain, Salvador Merino, a professor of pre-Columbian history, is researching the power of obsidian mirrors as portals to knowledge and power. Legend has it that these mirrors are connected to the Aztec god Tezcatlipoca, and that in the year 1500, there was an anthropologist, the king’s sorcerer, who was able to access secret information through this stone.
Salvador is determined to steal the Aztec mirror on display at the Natural Sciences Museum in Madrid to test its effects, if only for a day.
Unknowingly, La Rey is connected to this mirror through her obsidian stone, both made from the same volcanic material. Although she doesn’t yet understand where the images that sometimes take hold of her come from, her path will eventually lead her to discover the truth.
Betrayed by a supposed ally, La Rey is captured by a human trafficking ring in the Basque Country and is forced into prostitution. There, she meets Jacko, who works for her captor, and he soon falls in love with her and helps her escape. But La Rey has other plans: not only does she manage to get the police to dismantle the illegal network, but, thirsty for revenge, she kills the head of the organization.
On the day Salvador gives a lecture about his research at the Natural Sciences Museum in Madrid, La Rey is in the room, and when Salvador finally touches the mirror, two things happen: an instant attraction sparks between him and La Rey, and chaos erupts.
The police storm the museum searching for Jacko, who now works as a security guard there and whom they suspect of the murder La Rey committed. The chase ends with Jacko’s death, providing the perfect distraction… La Rey slips out of the building unnoticed, accompanied by Salvador and in possession of the obsidian mirror.
