Joaquim, an exile from the Civil War, wins a literary contest from his home town with a novel titled The Lost City. The town decides to bring him back as a citizen. Rafael, who also participated in the contest in which he ended up as a finalist, is a literature professor as well as a consultant and critic for a radio show and becomes in the biggest diffusor of Joaquim’s work. But Joaquim and Rafael have been cheating each other.
RELEVANT FACTS: In this play, Sirera hides the talk about politics by showing it through the friendship between two rivals: it looks like literary bickering. But there is something behind it all. Sirera has received the most distinguished of all prizes: The National Theatre Prize of Cataluña and the MAX Theatre Award twice.
