Nobody Told Me (Nadie me contó) could be have been the story of a fulfilled dream, instead it is the story of a crooked dream. Destiny takes Gaelle to meet the man of her life: intelligent, attractive, charismatic, seductive, powerful and rich. So perfect he does not even seem real.

This is the story of Gaelle, a divorced woman with two kids who does her best to recover her self-confidence, after a very difficult divorce. Throughout her own life experiences, she will reflect about friendship among women and maternity, from an optimistic and renovating point of view.
RELEVANT DATA: Nobody Told Me (Nadie me contó) is Gil Casares’ first novel. She has also written the film ¿Qué te juegas?, a comedy starring famous Spanish actors Amaia Salamanca, Leticia Dolera and Javier Rey.
The protagonist bears similarities to the author’s personal life: an economist who used to work in London and Paris as financial analyst, that left everything behind to marry Rafael del Pino, the president of the Spanish group Ferrovial. They divorced a few years ago and she has now reinvented herself to focus on her passion: writing novels and scripts.
