The Dismemberer of Majadahonda.
Two women disappeared five years apart. They do not know each other and have never seen each other; Liria was born in Salamanca (Spain) and Adriana in Buenos Aires. The only thing that unites them is the house in Majadahonda (city on the outskirts of Madrid) where they both lived at in different points of time.
Eduardo, Adriana’s brother, searches everywhere to find her, but, like Liria, the last trace of her is in the house where she used to live. No one has missed Liria in the last 5 years, but someone has taken it upon themselves to pay her bills and manage her bank account. Bruno, the landlord, has explanations for everything: Liria, her aunt, has moved to Avila (Spain) and her tenant has run off with a boyfriend. However, the Civil Guard detects the rusty smell of blood and realizes that Bruno is lying. In the garage they find an industrial meat grinder with the DNA of the two women. Bruno suffers from paranoid schizophrenia and is the double murderer they are looking for, a clean criminal with a double life.
RELEVANT DATA: Cruz Morcillo is a writer and crime reporter for ABC newspaper, radio, and television. He has received awards from the General Council of the Judiciary, the National Police, and the Civil Guard. With his works he has won the Award for Best Non-Fiction Book of the Semana Negra of Gijón and was a finalist for the Rodolfo Walsh Award for the best non-fiction work in the noir genre on several occasions.
