During a time of war, Victoria is a woman who finds herself in a delicate legal situation, after getting an arranged marriage with Alejandro. The arrival of Susana, Alejandro´s old relationship, complicates the situation and everyone starts to suspect that Victoria is, indeed, not who she says she is, to the point of being arrested for espionage.

Mihura was a playwright, journalist and screenwriter, considered the main inventor of the Theatre of the Absurd, and the most outstanding comedian in Spanish language through the 20th century. Mihura wrote the scripts of more than twenty-five movies, among which stands out “Welcome Mr. Marshall”, a film directed by Luis García Berlanga in 1952.
