A successful fashion photographer, Inés Ruano, receives a curious gift on her 45th birthday: two men dressed in black ask her to pay with her soul for the good luck she has had in her life. This gift is nothing but a joke from her mother, who wants to introduce her to a young man to have a roll in the hay.
However, she also wants to control that relationship and, eventually, to end it, as if her daughter was part of a game that only she can handle. She is a mother who might never be able to forgive her daughter for ending her only love.
There is a rivalry between mother and daughter that will only be overcome when fate or the devil rebel to return each one to his true life, without any deceptions and simulacra.
