An elegant summer vacation spot close to Santander, Carlos Sastre quietly enters one of the houses and cuts the throat of an old judge with a brilliant career. It’s nap time and it is extremely hot. Everybody is sleeping and no one has seen anything. We know the identity of the killer since the very first momento, but his motives will not be revealed until the end.
Judge Mariana de Marco is in charge of the case. Soon, she describes the murder as very sophisticated, lacking the usual brutality of rural people. As days go by, the precautions taken by the killer and his perfect alibi do not seem to be enough. The judge is convinced that the killer is part of the circle of summer vacationers, and that it is only a matter of time that they catch him.
