During a concert, the public heckles the musicians of a quartet whose future looks pitch black. However, one of them, the violinist, receives a letter from a woman confessing her love for him. When they meet, she remains hidden under a veil but makes him a surprising proposition: she invites him and the other musicians to a trip to the country she comes from. Once there, the violinist is subject to defamation, accused of being the woman’s lover, who turns out to be a princess.
