Elena is a mature woman, widow and mother of grown up children, but she is still strikingly beautiful. Her children are against her plans of marrying a man she loved when she was young, to whom she is united by something that has been kept a secret for many years.
RELEVANT FACTS: This work was a great success since its premiere, counting on the participation of the famous actress Amparo Rivelles, who debuted with this play. It also gave rise to the film directed by Felix Pomés.
Adolfo Torrado was a playwright and a screenwriter. Many of his stories, characterized by the mess, humor and emotional sensationalism, were taken to cinema by himself or other very important directors, such as Luis Buñuel.
