The Spring of Evil (La primavera del mal) (TV Series)

Crime has no limits nor frontiers.

Early 20th century. The Chinese have control of the drug cartel over the border of Mexico and the United States. However, their domination is short lived when all the power they had is brutally stripped away from them. The revolution´s victorious coronels and militants have taken possession of all that was theirs, thanks to the complicity between the drug traffickers and the corrupt authorities from both countries. This is the catalyst for the opium and marijuana war, one of the most lucrative businesses in the world.

Benito Guadalupe Serrano is a revolutionary coronel, and together with the governor Maximino Ávila Camacho and the gangster Lucky Luciano, they offer protection for the drug traffickers. Benito only trusts two people in his life: his son and his godson.

Death, betrayal and passion: this novel is an immersion in Mexico´s world of drugs in the 30s, and its awakening from its revolution.
