The honesty of a love that breaks the mold.
Roberto is a sixteen-year-old boy who began his career as a violinist at the age of four and has the potential to become a famous violinist. He belongs to Madrid’s upper class, and his family is willing to do whatever it takes to make the most of his talent, so they make him apply to a famous school in Chicago to study music with a prestigious Russian professor. But Roberto isn’t sure that this is what he wants and feels pressured by his family to pursue a career in music.
Roberto meets Luna, a student who attends the same high school as him, when they begin to send each other messages they carve into the wooden desk they both share in one classroom.
Luna comes from a humble neighborhood and her life couldn’t be more different from his. This, however, is not an impediment for Roberto, who begins to hang out with Luna’s friends and meets Sebi and Mocolindo. Despite his parents’ opposition, Roberto creates a strong bond with the boys, and falls in love with Luna, until they become inseparable. But some problems begin to arise.
The problem is caused by Santi, Roberto’s cousin, a spoiled boy who is accustomed to getting all the money he wants from his parents and from his side hustle as a drug dealer. One day, Santi’s motorcycle disappears, and he does not hesitate to blame and accuse Sebi of the crime. However, Roberto soon discovers that his cousin faked the theft to sell the bike on the black market and pay off his drug debt.
Roberto tries relentlessly to convince his parents to help him withdraw the accusation, but they decide to stand on Santi’s side instead.
Roberto will have to make a big decision: to confront his parents to defend the truth or live in compliance. At the same time, his feelings for Luna grow stronger every day and he is obliged to choose between his love for her, or a future offered to him in Chicago as a violinist.
