This play, very important during the Spanish Transition, tells the life, day by day, of three chamber musicians who have not only the same profession but also the same love interests. The play was very important in Spain as it turned around the repression on sex, desires and frustrations that existed for forty years under the dictatorship of Franco. The characters have a humanity generally nonexistent in vaudeville. The thread carrying the story is Beethoven’s Archduke Trio.
