The story is set in Madrid but it could be any other city. It is a fragmented story in which different characters take part. The city and its inhabitants are captured from all points of view. The city is lived both in its underground and from the panoramic views. The variety of characters has both voice and spokesperson. There are different time frames, as well as social referents. Fantasy, politics, escape, guilt or death are some of the ingredients that feed the frames.
RELEVANT FACTS: He has received an extraordinary number of decorations, in addition to the Herralde Prize, among which stand out the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar for Habla, mudita; the Golden Shell at the San Sebastian Film Festival for Furtivos; the Silver Bear for Best Director at the Berlin International Film Festival for Camada negra; the Goya Award to Best Original Screenplay for Jarrapellejos; and the National Film Award for Best Cinematography.
