Gabriela is Juan’s secretary, a scatterbrained ethologist. She aspires, unsuccessfully, to repeat the long gone love story between the two of them. In a stormy night, the peace at Juan’s gets disturbed by the appearance of Ana, a half-naked young woman, chased by Pedro, a suspicious looking motorcyclist. Juan protects the young woman as she phones her grandmother who recommends her to lose her virginity now, given the ideal circumstance. After having sex, the secretary appears, filled with jealousy, and the grandmother, waiting for a donation, perpetuating thusly the familiar tradition of prostitution.
RELEVANT FACTS: He was awarded the Premio Nacional Calderón de la Barca in 1956 and 1963 (shared). He was also awarded the Planeta Award.
