Not everything is what it seems to be
A husband, a wife, a sister-in-law and a hitchhiker are sit in the waiting room of a courthouse to testify about an uneventful weekend in the field. While they are waiting in that room, the four protagonists try to join versions of what happened. As the talks progress, they discover facts unfamiliar to each other. This comedy focuses on a current context in which our way of life is questioned.
RELEVANT FACTS: The story is told in a current social context, a society obsessed with consumption and with the searching of self-pleasure. The viewer can easily feel identified with the characters and their “dramas”, since the story deals with family and social conflicts. The manifestos of the protagonists bring to light their mediocre lives, exposed to publicity and consumerism.
The author received the Madrid Theater Critics Award for this play.
