Diana Lama is an Italian author who primarily works in the noir genre. She trained in Medicine and Surgery and specialized as a cardiac surgeon, but she currently focuses mainly on writing and teaching. She has participated in numerous noir short story anthologies and is recognized not only in Italy but also across Europe, especially in Germany.
She co-founded the theater “Il pozzo e il pendolo”, created “Napolinoir.it” with the aim of promoting and disseminating Neapolitan crime fiction, and since 2009, she has organized the ParolleInGiallo Literary Award for students.

This author has received the Tedeschi-Giallo Mondatori Award, the L’altra Italia National Award, and the Serravalle Noir Award for her novel Solo tra ragazze.
