Aitor Iturriza is a Spanish writer and scriptwriter who, in recent years, has worked as a press officer for political organizations in the Basque Country (Spain).
Lo que sé de nosotros (What I Know about Us)is his first novel and it is because of his experience as head of press that Iturriza offers in it a very consistent, internal and real vision of the political ins and outs of the Basque territory.
In order to document this first novel, Iturriza visited the newspaper archives of the Koldo Mitxelena library in San Sebastián to study the files and collections of the local press, thereby carrying out a rigorous fieldwork.
