Carlos Ortega Vilas is a Spanish writer who combines his literary activity with his career as a professor, professional proofreader, and head of writing courses at Letra Hispánica School of Spanish Language.
He coordinates the Fuentetaja creative writing workshops in Las Palmas (Canary Islands). He also collaborates with El País in the digital edition of El Viajero and his texts have appeared in several anthologies.
