Giampaolo Musumeci is an Italian journalist and filmmaker specialized in African issues, immigration and war zones.
He collaborates with major international news and radio channels such as Channel 4, Rai News24, Sky News, Rai Tre, MTV, Radio France International, Radio Swiss and a wide variety of other international media.
He is also the creator and host of the radio program on foreign affairs “Nessun luogo è lontano” on the Italian radio station Radio24.

Together with Andrea Di Nicola, he is co-author of Confessions of a Human Trafficker, published in Italy, France, Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Finland and Taiwan. The book deals with the smuggling and trafficking of people into Europe.
Among other topics, he has also covered stories about Israel, Russia, China, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Afghanistan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Yemen, and Egypt.
