José Niemetz is an Argentinian writer, professor and librarian. He studied Letters at the University of Cuyo, where he also studied to become a writer. Later on, he did a Master’s degree in Reading, Writing and Education at the Latin American Faculty for Social Sciences.
Apart from his successful literary career, currently, he is a professor and the owner of the bookshop Había una vez in Argentina.

His first novel, You Are For Me (Tú eres para mí), won the Clarín de Novela Award and is currently being adapted to a television series. The novel has been acclaimed by Almudena Grandes and Guadalupe Nettel, who have found similarities within it to that of Stephen King.
