Pep Coll is a Catalan writer and professor. He graduated with a degree in Philosophy from the University of Barcelona and later worked as a high school teacher. In the 1970s, he co-founded a magazine with his colleagues and established the Pallars Study Center. As a writer, he has focused on the folklore and history of communities near the Pyrenees, in both children’s and adult literature.
