The high-profile crime that was all over the news and that opened a profound gash in Barcelona’s police forces.
The police find a suspicious carbonized car and, in its interior, a barely recognizable dismembered body. The victim happens to be Pedro Rodríguez, a well-known Catalan police officer. Once the investigation is set, the results point at two main suspects: Officer Rosa, the girlfriend of the victim, and her lover, Albert, also a member of the Catalonia police forces.
Through a series of incredible testimonies and shocking judicial declarations, Egea presents the participants of this love triangle, focusing on the actual protagonist: Rosa Peral, a cold, selfish and calculating woman who uses her most seductive side to distort anybody’s argument and justify that everybody is against her.
The investigation reveals that the crime could have started with an ordinary argument at Pedro and Rosa’s home, which might have led to a struggle and, finally, to the death and dismembering of the man. It was not a planned crime, and Rosa’s attempt to get rid of the dead body was a complete failure.
