The past of a damaged country that had to rescue itself from its own horros as best as it could.
A young shepherd is accused of having committed a triple murder in the Extremaduran farmhouse where his family has worked as servants for generations. The inspector in charge of solving the case of the slaughter in this stately house thinks to have found the culprit. However, the testimoty of the young man’s grandfather, Don Antonio, unflawed, about what he knows about the crime and the precedents that gave place to it will make the inspector doubt. He will start investigating while the old potter tries to demonstrate the innocence of his grandson, who remains imprisoned.
