The Man With No Eyes (El hombre sin ojos) – Original Project

When parents leave their children alone, the Man with No Eyes comes after them.

Mónica and her son Daniel have just moved into a new neighbourhood, where Monica works as a teacher. Daniel doesn’t do well with change and feels disturbed when he realizes that the children in his class behave in strange ways.

Soon, he will learn why: everyone is afraid of the “Man with No Eyes”, a terrifying being that appears when children are left by themselves and kills and burns them. But before the “Man with No Eyes” does, another being always visits them, a burnt child who, although he appears to want to help, he only wants to hurt them.

Mónica is the only one who believes Daniel and his friend’s story, and by investigating the case, discovers that the “Man with No Eyes” is Jonás, a man whose son died in a fire. Shortly thereafter, Jonás committed suicide and now both the child and the father are coming after new victims.

After having multiple problems with the police, with her ex-husband and with the school principal, Monica discovers the terrible truth and, in the end, she sacrifices herself to save Daniel, giving the burnt child what he so badly desires: a mother.
