A billionaire, a corpse and a daffodil
Isle of Naxos, Greece. In a hostel, the body of a man is found dead, hanging from the ceiling, with clear signs of torture. The victim is an old Serbian army officer who committed all sorts of atrocities in the Bosnian War. Next to the body there is a daffodil. Denis Martel, a French Interpol inspector, is in charge of the case.
Andalusian coast, Spain. Adrian Seaten, the young millionaire owner of a Parisian advertising agency, and Laura, his assistant, have an accident and their car falls off a cliff into an isolated cove. Two mysterious men rescue the couple and keep them kidnapped against their will.
A pan-regional frenetic investigation full of obstacles in which Denis and Adrian’s stories will meet after Denis finds out that Adrian, still missing, is behind the Serbian’s and many other crimes, as he belongs to a worldwide secret society formed by the most powerful men who have been taking the law into their own hands for decades.

The plot is a very well-constructed and frenetic investigation, whose main characters are complex, realistic, and show a clear evolution from the beginning to the very end. All these elements make it possible for the novel to be adapted to film or TV as an organic international coproduction.
