You can call them “Narco-Grandmas”.
At a certain age, one thinks the rest of their life will be a peaceful stroll. But that’s not the case for Elena, who, at almost seventy years old, suddenly finds herself on the street. The bank has foreclosed on her house and her fish market.
Fortunately, she has the support of her lifelong friends: Julia, a family mother; Quimeta, an aspiring sommelier; and Pepi, a former nun. But how can they solve Elena’s financial problems if no bank is willing to grant them a loan…
Julia’s son – a heavy cannabis smoker – accidentally discovers the great value of a bag of marijuana and gives them an idea: Why not pay Elena’s debt with the sale of “seasoning” for cigarettes?
So, the four women decide to do a bit of gardening and become “Narco-Grandmas.” The ladies are sure it will be easy and safe money, as no one would suspect that the four adorable grannies from the neighborhood are drug dealers.
But Barcelona is full of dangers, police, and more traffickers. They will not only have to deal with the authorities but also with a dangerous clan that won’t rest until they stop selling in their territory. Will they manage to deceive everyone and save their friend?
