“The Year of the Comet” is an original fiction, mystery and horror series, based on the myths by H.P. Lovecraft and set in the 1930s. The main character, Lyndsay, an Irish young woman of humble origins, finds her dreams shattered when Alister, her fiancé, is murdered by her twin sister Eithne during their wedding ceremony. Suddenly Lyndsay realizes that the world doesn’t work as she thought, but at the mercy of dark supernatural forces that can destroy those who discover their existence. Trying to find out why her sister went mad and the causes to other terrible events that surround Alister’s death, she will start a long journey accompanied by Arthur O’Casey, Alister’s father, a man who hides more mysteries than it seems; and Jack Morgan, an old friend who is a rascal, delinquent, and “alleged” archaeologist.
DATOS RELEVANTES: Ramón Paso is a screenwriter, playwright and a stage director, born in Madrid in 1976. He is the grandson of the playwright Alfonso Paso and great grandson of the writer Enrique Jardiel Poncela. More than 100 episodes written by Paso, between series and shows, were released on TV; among them are the most popular TV series of Spanish television, such as “Compañeros” or “Matrimonio con hijos”.
